Following MGNA Crrrta’s hard-dance remix of ‘Kota on the plane,’ Ninajirachi shares 3 more club remixes of her 4x4 EP from SONIKKU, Wave Racer and Himera.

Ninajirachi’s lead single from her latest EP ‘1x1’, featuring electropop singer-songwriter Ravenna Golden gets a high-octane remix from London-based producer SONIKKU.
Sonniku keeps the party going, staying true to larger than life dance-pop of the original with rubbery bass plucks driving an energetic groove, explaining that he used his “usual 'Bodyrox' bassline combined with 80's inspired drums and melodies.”
Sparkling retro synths have a hyper-pop essence, calling to his previous collaborations with heavyweights SOPHIE, BAYLI and LIZ. Ravenna Golden’s pop-punk vocals, dripping in attitude, remain front and centre.

Ninajirachi shares, “SONIKKU was my literal number one dream artist to remix 1x1 and I'm sooooo happy that he was down. His latest EP called MOLG is soooo excellent and I think his 1x1 remix lives in a similar world. We got to meet and play a show together earlier this year in San Francisco alongside Iglooghost, and it's still one of the most fun USA shows I've played to date.”

Australian producer Wave Racer shares his take on Ninajirachi’s ‘Wayside’. A tender remix, Wave Racer strips back the high energy dance elements of the original in place of warm keys and garage-style percussion. The track is teeming with glitchy, chiptune sounds above warping synths and vocal chops. Ninjirachi shares that she’s “LITERALLYY been a Wave Racer fan for 10 years” and calls his remix “a total flip of the original.”
She shares her first encounter with Wave Racer’s music, “I shazamed DCUP - Don't Be Shy (Wave Racer Remix) at Porter Robinson's first Australia shows in 2013 and I've loved his music ever since. I'm so grateful to have worked with him like this is actually so crazy to me!!

Ninajirachi’s ‘Undo U’ gets an experimental hardcore rework from Amsterdam-based producer Himera. This remix is minimal but ultra-punchy, with stretches of negative space broken by wailing synths and larger-than-life percussive sounds. Defying convention, EDM style builds with euphoric risers lead to warped a capellas, the track taking an unexpected journey. Ninajirachi says that this remix came about “serendipitously,” explaining, “Himera liked the song and asked to make a remix and it ended up being soooooo perfect.”
